Having assumed for a long time that Deftones must be some lame nu-metal band and then changing my mind, I got this album over the weekend. And it's really, really amazing. I've not really heard anything like it, it just all sounds phenomenal (not just the songs but the production) and I love the shit he can do with his voice. Pink Maggit is pretty damn immense.

So, what's the next one I should get? I've heard the earlier ones are more straightforward nu-metal and the later ones more diverse, is that true?
