Last night i saw the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
and it was blinking brilliant, one of the best times I've ever had at a gig. I was smiling and tapping my foot the whole way through.
For those of you who don't know, the orchestra does gently amusing covers of songs like Smells Like Teen Spirit, Yessir I can Boogie and The Theme from Shaft. My personal favourite was the folk/country version of Anarchy in the UK.
I can't recommend them enough, if you go see them and don't smile for the whole 2 hours then you are dead inside.
