this band was really, really fucking strange. they seemed to be completely capable of making an average, okay, alright, merely acceptable song. they were either incredible (female of the species, begin again and avenging angels are easily three of the most imaginative pop songs of the last decade or so) or utterly, utterly garbage and mindnumbingly annoying beyond belief (neighborhood, ballad of tom jones, pretty much all their album tracks ever).

in conclusion, if you're considering pulling out that space record that you for some reason bought in the mid-to-late nineties...dont do it. itll confuse and annoy you
