Pulp...

John_Brainlove [Edit] [Delete] 16:40, 5 December '04
... the best band to emerge from Britpop, ultimately. The only one I'm still listening too anyway. I have a Pulp revival every few months and can't stop listening to Intro & His 'n' Hers. We Love Life was brilliant too, totally underrated. Fuckin Oasis. People really have NO taste do they? Probably the same people who drink Sunny Delight and watch Hollyoaks. Blur's last few albums are so interminably samey and unremarkable that they've turned into a sort of stubborn smudge on the face of British music that won't go away. Suede? Nobody ever even mentions them. Supergrass? OK retro guitar pop, Ash-league lightweights in the end. It's gotta be Pulp. Totally British, original, clever, pop... ... ... what do u lot reckon?
