In my youth I'd go nightclubbing several times a week. I'd seen countless bands back in my day. If there wasn't a band I'd go to The Fetish/The Scream, where they ignored the drinking age limit, celebrated Halloween year 'round, and played the Great Rock 'n Roll Swindle on the wall. Today, I'm far more likely to check out new (to me) bands buying their (best?/on-sale/latest) record. Incidentally, is a single played on the radio you like enough motivation to purchase the whole disc, or is further research required? I still don't download much, although since joining DiS I'll occasionally get a sneak-peak checking out free (abridged) downloads.
