And it's wholly unsatisfying.

I wouldn't have bothered, only it's by Mercury Rev who're possibly my favourite band in the whole history of ever. There's nothing wrong with the song- it's not their best but it's still pretty fantastic. It's just that, well, where's the joy? Where's that Christmas like excitement you get when you walk out of a shop clutching a nicely packaged song by your favourite band, keen to hear not only the single but the b-sides too, and to spend the bus journey home looking at the artwork?

This may be the future of music, and well done to the record companies for 'waking up to the reality', blah blah, but it's just not as much darned fun.
