We Are The 80s
I thought I'd check out the VH1 show to prove to you guys how right I am about the 80s. Here's how it went:
Huey Lewis & the News - It's not looking good for me.
Animotion - "You are my obsession." I don't think so. Quite possibly one of the worst bands of all time. Tell me they're from LA and make my humiliation complete.
Erasure - Another queer who sounds like Allison Moyet. Wierd. Not 'good' wierd. 'Awful' wierd.
Eurythmics - A butch Annie with short-cropped orange hair and she's still gorgeous. Things are perking up.
Peter Gabriel - Never a fav of mine but I can't fault the guy. Passed up millions to bust outta Genesis. Probably hates Phil Collins, too.
This is where I gave up and went to bed. Thank the gods I still have my CDs and records from the bands that were good. Er, wait a minute. No I don't. My signed EATB gone! Does the crackhead mo'fo who took my stuff know how hard it is to find Candleland? Thank God I'm not bitter about it!
