Retro. A throwback term with neither necessarily positive nor negative slant. Depends on yer perspective, I'd guess. I'd contend *all* bands today are retro. I mean what sound hasn't been done? The Dandy Warhols are accused of being retro-experimentalism (whatever the hell that means) but I dunt care one way or the other, cos I think they're great. A band either does it for ya or they don't, que no?
