someone tells me they aren't into my kind of music, I accept it.

However, what is really sad about these 'grindcore, death metal, screamo, hardcore' music fans, is, when I've told them I think the music they listen to is horrendous, they say, "Yeah dude, its too hardcore for you man. Go and listen to the Kooks."

Basically, if hardcore is roaring and screaming like a torture victim, then I am not a fan, in fact, I'm a firm disliker.

Lol. Has anyone seen those CD's called 'Rock Against Bush', with the little cartoon of Bush with his fingers in his ears. If anything, its showing he has taste.

Also, why do they all have ginger goatee beards? And those really 'hardcore' earings that take a huge chunk out of your ear? When they're 80, they're going to think... "Why was I such a twat when I was 18?"
