I mean, I have read review after review of Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain, and it doesn't seem like anyone is aware of this, but the melody to Silence Kit is identical to "Everyday" (a song made famous by Buddy Holly but not written by him). For anyone who doesn't know what song I mean, the lyrics go "Everyday, it's a getting closer, going faster than a roller coaster..." Anyway, this just really sucks. I wish my wife had not started singing those lyrics over Malkmus's...
