A load of the dates on Fist Citys UK tour have fell through, they are after any gigs, will jump on anything etc, they are so good!

Fist City is a four piece; a pack of earnest weirdos with a penchant for churning out music that screeches and rings with the blood-rush of a night crime yet charms with sugary sweet pop jangles and kool surf sleeze. They are of Alberta small town bummers and British Columbia wild hide-outs. Their music has been described as “raggedly elegant … stripped down challenging punk”, “pop songs clouded in a lo-fi basement show sheen” ; a blend of post-punk and dark-surf, with a twinge of pop.

2013 looks to be an incredibly productive year for Fist City. They are slated to release two 7"'s on Drunken Sailor Records (UK) and P-Trash Records (Germany), plus they are releasing their third full-length album on Adagio830 Records (Germany). In the spring, when they are released, Fist City is going to Europe and the UK to support the records on an extremely ambitious six week tour spanning much of europe and the UK. Also, look out for the event where Fist City will live record their covers cassette "Songs the Master Taught Us", out on Bart Records spring 2013.
