Friday 21 October @ The Lexington. Rare Breed Discs Present: The Vichy Government & Gyratory System with If... (live) and Luke The Quiteus and Jo Cliche (Black Plastic DJs)

liquid_city [Edit] [Delete] 10:21, 14 October '11

Rare Breed Discs make and release limited edition hand packaged mini 3 CDs and limited release albums. A rare breed indeed.

The Vichy Government: Loathed by the six budgerigars who have heard them, these synthpop troublemakers are jetting in from their Petropavlovsk palazzo to promote latest opus 'Coventry'.

Gyratory System: In the wake of their second critically acclaimed album, 'New Harmony' (released through the Angular Recording Corporation'), Gyratory System play old tracks and preview unheard new material, all in their unique avant-electronica-jazz-f-punk style.'

If... make cut-and-paste neo-romo-po-mo-art-punk-glam-pop in the various veins of The Fall, Suede, One More Grain, The Yummy Fur and Josef K. But, like, with a girl singing.
