We are very excited to announce The Aftershow Vs Hungry Pigeon massive Launch party!

Manchesters biggest indoor festival meets Manchesters biggest annual festival for what is sure to be the highlight of the Hungry Pigeon Weekend.

A massive exclusive set from The Reverend Soundsystem - this is a more party orientated live set from Reverend and The Makers and their friends. We have some great special guests and djs lined up too - this is one show you don't want to miss.

Reverend (aka Jon McClure) comes from a musically well-known county in Sheffield, UK. Prior to this Reverend and The Makers, he sang for Judan Suki and 1984, finding underground local fame and getting a name for himself. He has collaborated with Arthur Brown, John Cooper Clarke Timothy Hampton (Bromine Heads jacket ) Mike Hughes (Trap2) Chris McClure Laura Manuel (ex Judan Suki), Andy Nicholson (ex Arctic Monkeys), Tom Rowley (Milburn) and Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) and working with producer Alan Smythe. For live gigs, Reverend has gathered "The Makers", a super band of relatively unknown musicians. In summer 2009 they supported Oasis on the biggest ever Stadium Tour in the UK & Ireland.

Reverend Soundsystem is Jon McClure plus special guests performing Reverend & The Makers songs in an electro style.

For your listening pleasure we also have:

Coupe De Ville
Still City Sound
Gypsy Lips
Dirty Fakirs
Shanty town
Paraffin Oil Shop
