GIVE A GUITAR AMP THE HOME IT DESERVES!!

ian83_uk [Edit] [Delete] 22:20, 4 April '10

After nine glorious years of broken strings, lost picks and numerous effects pedals, I’m putting the guitar down and getting behind the drum kit. As a result, I have a neglected and lonely guitar amp in need of a new home. Said guitar amp has spent 8 years touring, recording and gigging; not once has it broken down and it has only been serviced once for tired old valves. A mixture of Peavey head and Marshal cab, it’s incredibly loud and impressively reliable; an amp capable of rich and/or dirty distortion but- surprisingly- possessing a beautifully clean setting.

Specs:

- US made ULTRA 60 Peavey head
- Two inputs
- Two gain settings (ultra and crunch)
- Reverb
- 60 watts RMS

- English made Marshall cabinet
- 4x10” speakers
- 120 watts RMS

Due to the amount of gigs, rehearsals and recording sessions I’ve been part of, both head and cabinet have accumulated a few ‘bumps and bruises’ over the years. But these only add to the aesthetics of a well-loved amp. I’m looking to sell both head and cabinet together for £280.
