STATE KUBAN
In 1967, two esteemed scientists, a philosopher and a respected explorer discovered ancient writing in a dungeon, thousands of feet underneath the Great Wall of China. The writing read:

"??????????????????"

which roughly translates to:

"One day four Norwegian boys will form the best band in the world."

...and so they did.
