Nottingham band DOG IS DEAD play Death Disco at Notting Hill Arts Club tomorrow.

Drawing influence from musical theatre to their own musical heroes which span Paul Simon and Cap N Jazz to Mystery Jets and Fleet Foxes, they create a unique sound of indie-hit pop music, inflected with jazz sax solos and math rock riffs.

Pull this together with the electrifying and unexpected wizardry of the saxophone, much overlooked and notably under rated by many contemporary bands. Here in lies the pogo friendly undisputedly catchy creation of Clockwork, Board Games and The Zoo, their first three tracks to be published on Myspace, already garnering anthemic status amongst local fans.
