Officer Kicks are on tour during October in support of The Kraken – their first release from their new album Citywide Curfew which they finished recording earlier this year. The single is picking up some positive feedback;

‘Imagine Razorlight with the swagger of Motley Crue" (Subba Cultcha)

‘’A brilliant example of the fast-paced and incredibly popular rock scene that’s dominating the UK in more of a mainstream fashion these days. (Altsounds.com)

‘Rather addictive little rock track that sounds like it’s been recorded whilst the band are jumped up on e numbers! (Rock City)

“A full-on, Motley Crue-esque onslaught with taught vocals, crashing guitars and an irrepressible desire to get you dancing around your living room to those dirty riffs. (Room 13)

Officer Kicks bring their crowd rousing SHOW to The Face Bar this Wednesday before heading out on the Juliette Lewis UK tour next week, and invite Reading to rock out with them. They’re already being tipped for 2010, when the follow up to their acclimed debut, The Six Grand Plot, is released, but catch them up close now.

“Super spiky rock’n’roll with plenty of attitude, their name should be a lot more familiar by the end of the year” (Sunday Express)
