Coming on like Keith Jarrett playing with Los Hermanos, ‘Southern Soul’ is deep techno jazz at its finest. Dreamed up by London’s young techno prince Chris Spero aka Glimpse (Planet-E) and Stuttgart’s Martin Eyerer (Kling Klong) it is an epic journey that could open, close or sit slap bang in the middle of any set. Emotional, richly textured and pumping, here is a track to add some heart and soul to your floors.

On the flip, London’s Jay Shepheard (hot from stellar debuts on Compost Black Label and Beatport Awards nominations) loops the piano, straightens the beat and adds some astral strings to create a direct and driving dub.

As a bonus, we add Stephan Hinz’s simple deep percussive re-work of the original piano performance.
