Emily Scott will be launching her new album ABCDEFG...etc through Aufgerladen und Bereit Records. Boomkat sez this about it:"The DIY ethic is carried over into the music itself, which was recorded "at the fireside" of former Incredible String Band member Macolm Le Maistre, and is always coloured by a homespun intimacy. Scott's voice transcends Scot-folk conventions, incorporating hints at skiffle, music hall crooning and more than a small amount of Leslie Feist. There must be more than a dozen or so dulcet acoustic albums of this ilk released per week, but Scott's effervescent delivery and quietly magical arrangements (e.g. the combination of vocal harmonising, sparse piano and shimmering bells on opener 'Downriver') set this one apart."

Plus bandmate and collaborater Rob St.John playing lo-fi creaks and drones from 5pm.
