Epic45 are one of those very special bands - their music manages to capture the sounds that have been in your head for years, but you've never actually heard. Inspired by their surroundings, blissful childhood summers and mysterious/inspiring walks the duo has been making music for more than a decade, and are rightly held in high regard for fusing elements of electronica, alt. indie, post rock and ambience in a very individual way.

It comes as no surprise to find that Epic45 grew up - and still reside - in a small rural village in the heartland of the English Midlands. Based around the nucleus of 27 year old school friends Ben Holton and Rob Glover, Epic45 have had a varied and fluid line-up since their debut in 1999, releasing a series of highly acclaimed EPs and albums for labels such as Bearos, Awkward Silence and Where Are My Records. The band has also received radio airplay from the late John Peel, Steve Lamacq and Verity Sharp over the past few years.

Eric (Loveland) Heath. A twentysomething multi-instrumentalist. Born in Georgia (US) a long time ago. Has resided in Shropshire (UK) for almost as long. Sometimes makes short films. Drinks a lot of tea. Plays the "Martenot". Likes writing music that describes the scenery in and around Shropshire. Also likes writing broken street organ waltzes. Member of "Strap the Button" and accordionist with "Rob Dunsford" amongst others.
