FRIENDS
Friends were formed in 1986 by singer/guitarist/songwriter William Jones, in Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland, UK. Drummer and percussionist Martin Parker joined in 1992 and these two form the nucleus of the London-based band today. Friends have released nine albums and six singles on the Summerhouse label, all of which are still available. Their latest album, Spangleland, was released in May 2007.

COUNTRYSIDE
Countryside do; “Epic and dreamy synth-tinged rock from these fine melodic shoegazers - hints of Grandaddy & Guided By Voices topped with heavenly laconic vocals and a heady psychedelic sensibility.”

THE UNDERSTUDIES
A London collective, by way of Scotland, they make the kind of dreamy indiepop that Felt peddled in their prime, tinged with a caustic wit last seen dribbling from Luke Haines’ mouth.
"If you have ever fallen for bands like The Magnetic Fields, Camera Obscura and Butcher Boy - you'll be right at home with The Understudies and their beautifully presented indiepop… a cracking little band" (Indiemp3)
