Afternoon, The Winter Olympics play a show at London's trendy Mother Bar on top of the 333 Club in Shoreditch on Wednesday 17 June 2009.

Also on the bill on the 17th are The Cyklones, Kamikaze Practice and the astonishing (and astonishingly named) 2 Hot 2 Sweat. I tell you, it's not often that I get band-name jealousy, but boy do I ever wish I was in 2 Hot 2 Sweat? Good act.

Mother/333 is located at erm... 333 Old Street, Shoreditch, London EC1V 9LE. Entry is FREE if you sign up to the email list on the promoter's website http://www.myspace.com/yellowblackclub and bring the print-out with you.

If you can't be arsed with that it's four quid on the door. Pay that and we'll buy you a pint. (And claim it back on expenses.)
