AMUSEMENT PARKS ON FIRE
This is a sound as big as can be, of shoegaze, of post-rock, of straight up noise. Blissful yet intense.
Nottingham's AMUSEMENT PARKS ON FIRE were born from a solo project into an outfit Portishead's Geoff Barrow released under his INVADA record label. From recording in Sigur Ros' studios in Iceland, the band have released two albums and a forthcoming EP, "Young Fight" will be released in late April 2009, plus being on tour with Fuzz birthday heroes 65daysofstatic.

SWIMMING
Fellow post-rock noise niks SWIMMING are in support. Building on early critical acclaim, May 2009 will see the release of Swimming’s debut album, "The Fireflow Trade", on their own Colourschool label. Engineered entirely by the band themselves and produced by frontman John Sampson (whose previous producer credits include the likes of Amusement Parks On Fire), the album is a beautiful synergy of textures and melodies.
