I run a magazine in Leeds called Art Fist. We are a free magazine, we distribute around pubs/art venues/gigs in Leeds and online through email and our website. We like to take a down-to-earth approach to writing - jargon-free, with an emphasis on humour.
We are open to submissions for features, articles, reviews, creative writing, rants, poetry, comic strips, images, etc. We like art, music, video games, comics, TV, film, books - anything creative really.

Art Fist is run by volunteers, it is a free magazine and there is absolutely no charges for submission. We also don't pay for submissions, see it as a great way to get your work read by hundreds of people.

Features should be 600-1500 words
Reviews should be 400-600 words (reviews of 'events' should be related to local events or local artists/musicians etc.)
Creative writing 3000 words max, but can be longer (will run over more than one issue)
Graphic short stories 10 pages, but again, we can spread them over a number of issues.

Deadline for consideration for Issue Seven is 12th April.
