Lime Headed Dog are an insanely inventive outfit, equally inspired by Bob Dylan and Liars. The brainchild of ex-Good Shoes bassist Joel Cox, who explains he left because they 'just got stuck' in the same musical style... Having left to pursue a more hmmmmm dare i say interesting sound, Lime Headed Dog have won praise across the board...

'sophisticated lo-fi D.I.Y otherness with bangs and clanks and kfums and klufs'
ORGAN MAGAZINE single of the week
'Lime Headed Dog will have you hyperventilating'
DAZED AND CONFUSED

Come and witness the spectacle that is Lime Headed Dog at Jamboree, Cable Street Studios.... why?
In singer Joel Cox's words:-
'The future is making music unconstrained by commercial sensibilities, I hope. If you have your own recording equipment and the ability to release records yourself, nothing can go wrong, right?' from Plan B magazine

Let's hope he's not wrong............

+ support from TRASH KIT
http://myspace.com/trashkit

Local gals Trash Kit live up to their name, bashing out the trashiest sound you're likely to hear on a thursday night in the east end.. unless you've stumbled into a better venue by mistake.... These three gals describe their music as Afrobeat but by the sounds of those guitars that's a dirty lie........ Verging between the sublime and the unlistenable, and with some supercool support slots coming up you wanna catch these three before everyone else does.

And at £2 entry who could say no?

Doors 8pm - live music from 9pm

***************

JAMBOREE has gotta be the east end's cheapest venue with beers and spirit+mixers at £2.50, and with bands like these, and times like these, it's the place to be...

The weekend starts on Thursdays at Jamboree.

Jamboree, courtyard of
Cable Street Studios
566 Cable Street
London E1W 3HB

10 mins from Bank station to the bar...
