We're delighted to announce that Chicago's volcano! will be returning to the UK in November, and headlining Hoxton Bar and Kitchen on Mon 17th November . DiS's Colin Roberts once described them as "the sum of all your favourite records since you started listening to music seriously... a beautiful voyage", which sums it up just about as well as anybody could. volcano! (lower case 'v' and exclamation mark are essential) are a challenging listen. Impossible to categorise, they mash together countless genres, styles, rhythms, tempos, sounds and emotions, often within the same song, but never fail to be Just Plain Fun.
