Lonely Drifter Karen:
A captivating voice, a fiery piano, a gentle acoustic guitar wandering into an expressionist cabaret, melodies, melodies and more melodies, words, emotion and magic: welcome to the unique world of Lonely Drifter Karen.

Lonely Drifter Karen is a musical project founded by the Austrian singer Tanja Frinta in 2003. The music combines folk, pop and Dark Cabaret rooted in a European context. Her co-musicians are pianist and producer Marc Melià Sobrevias from Spain and Italian Giorgio Fausto Menossi on drums and percussions.

'Fans of Bjork, Joanna Newsom and Jolie Holland will love without reservation…an album full of standouts'
Sunday Times

Support comes from:

The Lost Brothers:
Having recorded their debut album in Portland, Oregan with producer Mike Coykendall (M Ward, Bright Eyes, She and Him) they plan to release this november on their own label- Bird Dog Recordings. They have been described as "cosmic Everly Brothers", "ragged Simon and Garfunkel" or even "Velvet and Garfunkel".

Having already gigged with The Handsome Family and Justin Townes Earle, the new year will see them doing their own headline shows. This show will also be their album launch night, with their debut album 'Trails of the Lonely Parts I and III' released on November 17th.

Morrison Steam Fayre:
Over the past year Morrison Steam Fayre have developed naturally and diligently into a mature, fresh and unpretentious band. With shows in London, New York and a triumphant performance at 2008’s Truck Festival all under their belt, MSF have gathered a discerning set of fans. The live shows are invigorating and skilful, with Reid’s soaring vocals complimenting Dan’s complex but playful riffs; while all this is backed up by Aaron’s soulful bass and Tomer’s solid, up-tempo beats.
