Manchester's Spokes will provide this fine evening with mostly instrumental, always captivating post-rock aceness. This is not your average quiet-loud band, they play with an edge of longing and sadness rarely seen in this genre and their 'People Like You Like You' album is indeed a fine piece of work that comes highly recommended. Recent slots at the Big Chill and Rockness festivals prove these lovely peeps are on the march.

One of Scotland's finest upcoming bands... soon to be up there with The Twilight Sad and Frightened Rabbit. These young gentlemen cross Interpol-esque rhythms with soaring walls of guitar and a melancholy edge for good measure. It's their first time in Leeds so don't miss out.

THE AMBER SLEEP
This beautiful string-based band centred around Graham Jones' brooding vocals create some quite wonderous acoustic passages. A little Nick Drake and a little Antony and the Johnsons and a lot of heart.
