“Dancing at the funeral party…” A Funeral Party is a new and hopefully on-going event. Our idea is to play music from 60s beat bands through to 70s glam rock and 80s postpunk and onwards to contemporary alternative rock. We will also plan to feature one or two live bands.

The 1st event is to take place at Loft on Mansfield Rd, Nottingham on Saturday, 13th December 2008. There will be a special guest DJ (TBC) as well as live music from new Nottingham band Luxury Stranger (who I managed to talk into taking part after watching their electric live debut at Junktion 7). Doors open from 7pm and the event is FREE! Hope to see you there.
