MAYBESHEWILL

"Fantastic Band... We're in awe, It sounds absolutely brilliant"
- Huw Stephens, Radio 1 (Album Of The Week)

"In reference to the band's name, a line on the Leicester four-piece's website reads: "Maybeshewill like the way it sounds, not the meaning of its constituent parts." The callous explanation works for their debut full-length as well, which plays like a mash-up of dissected film scores. Jagged riffs collide with tip toeing keyboards and ambiguously emotive vocals for no obvious reason. The album presents atmospheres rather than dictate sentiments. Projects like this may be mislabelled as pretentious, but there's a definite artistic statement here. It's full of sound and fury, signifying nothing – but that's exactly the point."
- Rock Sound (8/10)

"All of this is incredibly easy on the ear, positioning Maybeshewill as a poppy alternative to post-rock bands that make you work your bollocks off just to be rewarded with a single nugget of prettiness or meaty riffage. We’ve all been there; we’ve all been impatient. Here, everything’s laid out for easy access and instant enjoyment, and you’ll be constantly coming back for more. This full-length introduction to what Maybeshewill can do signals the arrival of a compelling, fascinating talent."
- Drowned In Sound (8/10)

"Most bands couldn’t juggle the collective noise of Mogwai and Glassjaw without exploding. However, Leicester instrumentalists Maybeshewill make it sound easy as they lead you through a panoramic musical landscape of serrated riffs, atmospheric pianos, electronic blips and frenetic drum loops."
"Don’t let plainly ridiculous titles like Paris Hilton Sex Tape fool you, some of these songs are extremely quick to kick your teeth in when you least expect it"
- Kerrang (KKKK)

INERTIA BLOOMS

"As the vocals kick in during the second song, the band’s intentions become clear: epic, sweeping compositions which are not so much songs as pieces of music. All three guitarists play different, contrasting and complimentary guitar parts, and there is a section in their final song where a shimmering motif is played in the round by all three, giving the aural impression of brilliantly sparkling raindrops, infused with light, falling from the sky onto our heads and into our ears."

ALRIGHT THE CAPTAIN

"good ol teeth grinding, gurning ,head bopping nastyness" Vox

"I really like this, its like deranged art surf" Marco Pirronni
--------------------------------------------------------------------

SINATRA

"When it comes to describing bands it's easy, they usually fit into several categories and are pigeon holed in a certain way or are likened to other bands. When it comes to describing yourself, its a lot harder. The best way to understand what we're doing is to come see us play live and make up your own mind."
