panic attract, the lizzies, bathroom sally live at the Dublin Castle Camden, Saturday 23rd August

cumulous_nimbus [Edit] [Delete] 16:16, 22 August '08

Dublin Castle Pubnasium
94 Parkway, Camden
Saturday 23rd August

PANIC ATTRACT - One guy "band" - dunno how does he play alone as there are lots of different sounds - all of them really good. It's kind of Radiohead but with a Frank Zappa craziness in it if that helps...

BATHROOM SALLY- Female fronted four piece mashing up funky and jazzy grooves, pure soul moments too, and a few forays into some rather cool lovers rock... some heavy rocking art funk trips also put you in mind of Frank Zappa, but it’s mainly about the sweet, sweet vocals sitting atop the solid groove.

THE LIZZIES -- Elements mid 70's Floyd all mixed up with 60's acid rock. Epic and atmospheric indie-rock.

BIG GEORGE AND THE PHILISTINES - Fuck me it's a mad scientist's evil meddling...Slade have been morphed with The Manics! Come on feel the generation terrorism. Marvellous mutant hybrid rock.
