Between post-metal, psychedelic post-rock and whatever other post-genre label that gets writers juiced, comes Leeds based hardcore turned prog merchants, Humanfly. Formed in 2000, following the demise of UKHC heroes Canvas, Humanfly offer epic, metallic journeys through huge NeurIsis style heaviness to Black Floyd / Pink Sabbath via Mogwai atmospherics.

Named after the legendary Dr Who episode from 1975, this band has been created to push music to its limits. Crushing doom, blastbeats, harsh electronics/vocals and a beautiful prog feel combine to push boundaries a little further in extremity.

Queen of Swords

With diverse influences from Neurosis to Burning Witch to Autechre, Queen of Swords is characterised by the rich sounds of atonal abstraction whilst exploring the space of their minimalist style drumming. Conspired by Liam Sparkes of Trencher, John Macedo and John Atkins of Palehorse, the band features a range of guests for their live set.
