Afrikan Boy – http://www.myspace.com/afrikanboy

Afrikan Boy quickly rose from the underground following a guest appearance on the track ‘Hussel’ on M.I.A.’s 2007 album ‘Kala’ and a remix of the single ‘Paper Planes’. The success of the tracks has seen him signed to M.I.A.’s own Zig-Zag label and has given him the opportunity to tour world wide with her including opening up shows for Prince and Bjork amongst others.

Originally from Nigeria and now living in London, his own material focuses on his own life experiences including visa problems, shop lifting and his proud heritage on tracks including ‘Lidl’, ‘LAGOS’ and ‘We Takin’ Ova’. His first mixtape ‘Can of Whoop Ass’ will be available soon.

Afrikan Boy stops off at Music is My Boyfriend presents on 20th June for his only planned London club appearance amongst numerous worldwide festival shows. Catch him while you can!

COWTOWN – http://www.myspace.com/cowtownsuperstars
Rare London appearance from Leeds’ electro, post punk superstars COWTOWN.They play short, hi-octane thrill pop songs, with guitars like Jeremy Jacobsen in Devo-mode, wild pulsing synths, and pounding super-tight drumness. Cowtown's debut album 'Pine-Cone Express' is out now on Chinchilla-tone/GoldenLabs/On the bone records.

+ special guests to be announced!

DJs!
Buster Bennett - http://www.myspace.com/busterbennettlondon
Buster has been the driving force behind some of London’s most creative club nights. Rising to fame with the now infamous Anti-Social and more recently Nuke Them All! "If the Mighty Boosh's Vince Noir and the cast of The Wizard of Oz threw a warehouse bash we reckon it would look like this" – Time-Out. Currently he is launching Calling All Tribes with All You Can Eat’s K-Tron at Soho’s renowned Ghetto nightclub. One of the main factors that link all these nights is Buster’s innovative music and DJ style.

The Real Heat DJs - http://www.myspace.com/therealheat / http://www.myspace.com/therealhotdjs
The Real Heat have already re-defined the “girl group” with numerous live performances across Europe and even featured in the current NME Cool List. Now they come in DJ style playing the best electro, hip hop and indie mash ups.
