That's right, we can barely contain our excitement either. The recently sleepy DiS crew have awoken from their slumber to bring you:

Steve Lamacq recently named them his new favourite band. When asked by a journalist if he could still excited about new music, he replied: "Yes. I recently got hold of a fantastic record by a band called Forward Russia and, once I started playing it, it didn't come off my turntable for four days. I went to see them live in Leeds upstairs in a pub as soon as I could, in a room that held about 80 people. They were great."
They're also playing the Carling Stage of the Reading Festival in August... Set to be massive.

Formerly Uproar, these guys have created much debate on Southscene lately, most notably after their last Ejector Seat gig. Any band that divide opinion and create debate quite as much as these guys is deserving of attention - come and make up your own mind. We challenge you not to love Stendhall Syndrome!

This all takes place on Monday 18th July @ Lennons, Southampton. Tickets are £4 in advance from FM Music in the bargate right now, and in the near future hopefully from Lennons itself. Grab them while you can.
