With a main room dedicated to everything electric, eclectic and buzzing in indie, electro and rock and a second room hosted, decorated, curated and played out by a different band each month Twisted Licks is a regular one off to be etched into the party calendar.

For the next installment of this stellar night we have something extra special - man of the moment Joe Lean and his merry band of men the Jing Jang Jong play live and direct whilst support comes from The Alones - the first band to have released a single (‘Silver’) on Another Music Another Kitchen’s new label – and Sunday Bests electro hipsters Christopher D Ashley. DJ revelry is split between Twisted resident Slim Jim and Guy from Fierce Panda serving up a delicious medley of choice cutz. This is going to be an unmissable night – prepare to be grabbed by the Jing Jang Joolies!!

229 is a fantastic new medium sized live music venue in the heart of London, directly opposite Great Portland St Tube Station under the International Student House. This venue is a real gem, about to be firmly unveiled due to the efforts of a new management team with real vision and support. With venue 1 having a capacity of 620 and venue 2 holding another 180, a fantastic sound system, staging and lighting and subsidized bars, 229 will soon have passionate music lovers and clubbers purring at the prospect of hanging out at a great new venue that will give you change from a tenner on your round!
