With a main room dedicated to everything electric, eclectic and buzzing in indie, electro and rock and a second room hosted, decorated, curated and played out by a different band each month Twisted Licks is a regular one off to be etched into the party calendar.

The third instalment of this fantastic clubnight features live sets from hotly tipped London hipsters Captain, the awesome live talent of Birminham buzz-band The High Society (ex King Adora) + Talk Taxis with DJ sets from re-mixing supremo’s Stealth Disco in between. One Night Only host room 2 fresh from the huge success of their single ‘You and Me’ on Vertigo Records. More late night DJ revelry comes from Slim Jim and secret special guests

229 is a fantastic new medium sized live music venue in the heart of London, directly opposite Great Portland St Tube Station under the International Student House. This venue is a real gem, about to be firmly unveiled due to the efforts of a new management team with real vision and support. With venue 1 having a capacity of 620 and venue 2 holding another 180, a fantastic sound system, staging and lighting and subsidized bars, 229 will soon have passionate music lovers and clubbers purring at the prospect of hanging out at a great new venue that will give you change from a tenner on your round!
