John Smith is a young guitarist and songwriter who is steadily rising up the ranks of the British Folk
scene. His blend of folk storytelling and percussive, fingerstyle-based guitar creates a sound that has
earned him a loyal following around the UK with music fans of the folk greats as well as those of
nufolk. He has supported the likes of John Renbourn, John Martyn and Davy Graham, as well as becoming a
firm favourite at The Green Man Festival in recent years. A great opportunity to catch him in a small

DAN MELROSE (MANCHESTER)
Dan Melrose is a singer-songwriter and guitar instrumentalist based in Manchester. He writes, records
and performs original material that, if it had to be pigeonholed, would be called folk. Blending the
romance of folk music with the grim realities of the blues… Melrose uses his guitar virtuosity to create
a sound that balances the traditional with the modern.
