Ebony Bones, Kania Tieffer, Knight Of The Nine Times Table - July 20 The Bordeline

HughDoVoodoo [Edit] [Delete] 13:22, 5 July '07

So, we figured every other Tom, Dick and Harry seems to be running some live shows of sorts and we're adamant that no bandwagon is beyond us. So we got a bit busy and have booked a whole weekend of live shows. Each of the bands are of rare breed and the musical equivalent of slow food: Offbeat projects of fine vintage and European tinge. So cast your hipster music aside and join the Music Towers Weekender.

DAY 1

Friday 20th July - Electro
The Borderline,
Orange Yard Manette Street London , W1D 4JB

£7 adv Click Here:

(first 50 get access to the Mariachi show at Rock @ The Mean Fiddler afterwards too)

EBONY BONES

An experimental exciting soca head-dress meets rat scabies in a dark and fingers him in exchange for superpowers. Loud live and designed to make you dance. In their own words ’Like Harry Potter with a Vagina’.

KANIA TIEFFER

Kania is against the machine - but uses every button, twist and trick to extract what noise she can from it. Upbeat loony glitchy electro from Belgium.

KNIGHT OF THE NINE TIMES TABLE

Imagine Slayer and S Club 7 as a one man band. Then imagine that the matrix is a bit bugged and you are about half-way to trying to describe what the Knight of the nine times table does. Not for people with weak heart conditions

If you like: CSS, Justice, Wierd Science, Aphex Twin probably will enjoy these bands
