Margate Lido... EARLY DOORS!!

This is from the promoter... well worth a visit I'd say.

After talking with the venue management we've managed to get the lido to open an hour earlier than usual and kimya & her family will be in the house and playing their sets sometime between 7.00pm and 8.30pm. two reasons for this; 1) is so's she can bring her small baby with her, play the show and then get back to ours early to put her to bed/eat dinner/keep her out of harms way. 2) we've managed to get a short temporary smoking ban in the venue till 9pm, which was one of the conditions required for her playing. we're hoping that's not gonna cause too many problems. it is only till 9pm and let's face it, your gonna have to get used to it what with the uk ban coming into effect 2 days later. besides there's nothing to stop you taking your snouts outside. after 9pm, puff away. if you give a shit about kimya dawson playing margate this won't be a problem, if you don't care, sorry, but you'll live (maybe a little bit longer).

so, most importantly in this message> IF YOU WANNA SEE KIMYA & ANGELO, GET TO THE VENUE FOR DOORS OPEN AT 6.30. AN HOUR EARLIER THAN USUAL. 6.30PM. COOL.

Now, along with Kimya & Angelo (an american garage rock noise sensation in his own right) you also have the large bonus of french avante garde art funk outfit LAWRENCE WASSER and awesome brighton based power trio EPIDEME. where possible i have added these to our top friends. it's now likely, due to the farcical conditions leading to the gig that Peggy sue will now play the lido in august, probably with Blood red shoes. sorry for any confusion to you guys & the girls.

the night will now run as follows, please take note

Between 7.00-8.30 Angelo Spencer & Kimya Dawson will play their respective sets.

We'll then have a 'disco gap' till say 9.30 when Epideme will play.
