Ill Ease/Tight Meat Duo/Music For One in Nottingham...

dave_rio [Edit] [Delete] 16:29, 15 March '07

Good Name for a Racehorse/Mantile Present…

ILL EASE
Frenetic one woman post-punk from the US of A. Music for dancing, thinking and celebrating.

TIGHT MEAT DUO
Explosive free jazz from David Keenan (Taurpis Tula, 18 Wheeler, Telstar Ponies) on sax and Alex Neilson (Scatter, Jandek, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, The One Ensemble, Isobel Campbell, Taurpis Tula) on drums.

MUSIC FOR ONE
One woman, one steel bodied guitar, one loop pedal. She says it far better than we could: “music is like is the dressing for a wound but I'm all too aware that comfort and beauty are sometimes very removed from reality so I embrace the wrong and bleak and make them my own”.

Saturday 17th March, Lee Rosy’s Tea Room
8.30pm, £4 adv(http://www.wegottickets.com/event/16074 and Selectadisc), £5 on the door
