Dead! Dead! Dead!

In a similar vein to Arcade Fire or The Dears, Dead! Dead! Dead! are taking dark and twisted indie rock in brave new directions, dropping in slabs of Birthday Party style violence and Joy Division darkness to create a schizophrenic sound that takes no prisoners

'Intelligent, inventive, unconventional and unbelievably infectious – it’s easy to see the band becoming the south’s worst kept secret.' 10/10 - Drowned In Sound

Tiger Force

Tiger Force consists of Helen, Andy and a lot of things which make loud noises. Deliberately steering clear of anything that might resemble a recognisable genre, they can best be described as sample-loving hip-hop-inspired punk-ethos sing-along handclapping demented scuzz-pop. And then some.

"It's like if Huggy Bear appeared on Sesame Street or Sonic Youth listened only to no-fi hip hop." - Rough Trade

Bolt Action Five

Bolt Action Five started when a bunch of random noises all got melted together, like Lego left in the sun too long. They make pop songs, which sound like everything good you've ever heard ever. They have four drum machines. This is too many drum machines to fit in one Fiesta. And they want to dance with you all.

"Put simply. You. Have. To. See. Bolt. Action. Five!! They are the ultimate portable party: drum machine thumps, funky-as-shit bass lines, and metal-punk-fuzz guitar riffs that’ll make you move like you're on hot coals." - DirtySouth

Dirty Hands

Dirty Hands are a band of students, who study by the river. Philosophers and doctors and francophiles amongst their lot. The hustle and bustle of the city could be classed as an inspiration. “Nothing ever stops round here, and if you actually do stop in the street, somebody will probably just bump into you unapologetically. Just keep walking.”

"It’s astonishing how Dirty Hands and their ilk make things like song structure, melody and verve seem so easy. Could this be the positive side of Blair's tenure the historians will be looking for?" – Demo of the Month, John Kennedy, XFM

Attitude is Everything run regular Club Attitude nights to showcase the talents of disabled and non-disabled musicians and DJ’s, and to promote best practice by demonstrating to the industry how to put on a fully accessible club night including Sign Language Interpreters.
Previous Headliners include The Mystery Jets, Art Brut, Martini Henry Rifles, Princess Headbutt, and The Rock of Travolta. There have also been DJ sets from Alan McGee, Stevie Chick and 80’s Matchbox B-line disaster.
