Planning to Rock
Berlin based but Bolton born, Planningtorock has been
described as a pyshco tropic wonder. Having recently
toured with The Knife, Peaches and currently Chicks On
Speed, Janine Rostron is an enchanting electronically
and classically submerged Janis Joplin (or Kate Bush
or David Bowie even). She flirts with Honky Tonk,
blues, rock and jazz and provides her audience with a
visual feast via costume and video projections. Debut
album 'Have it All' (Chicks on Speed) is out now and
is Vice's album of the month. So there. So yeah.
