Kid Rock: Vote Bush!
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver July 13th, 2004
More from the We Couldn't Make This Up file...

P Diddy likes to party. We all know this. So, on July 4th, he celebrated his country's independence from us oiks with a bit of a bash, and invited the likes of hip hop boss-type Russell Simmons and rock-rapper Kid Rock along. Fine so far...

Until they decided to go to the cinema. Upon learning that Diddy's film of choice was to be Michael Moore's Bush-bashing Fahrenheit 9/11, Mr Rock threw his toys out of his pram, and proceeded to rant at Mr Simmons:

"Don't you understand, everything we got in this country, we got from fighting ... I'd rather go to the bar across the street."

And he did. When Simmons emerged from the cinema, he found a sticker on his windscreen: "Vote Bush. Bush Rocks!", in Mr Rock's handwriting.

See...? We couldn't make this up. Next time: Mr Rock runs for governor of some backwards state in the Mid-West. Maybe.
