Scary Disco Brigade in silly headline shocker
-Raz- by Raziq Rauf July 5th, 2006

In a thoroughly cosmopolitan move, three of the brightest rock hopes from across the globe (England, Finland and Australia) are converging upon the UK for one tour in August.

London's own art-rockers in disguise, Brigade, and Helsinki-based Refused lovers Disco Ensemble are set to co-headline the tour with the totally spaz-tastic The Scare (pictured... I made that picture) in support.

Seeing as this tour contains one band featured in the much-coveted DiScover section and another that we picked up on months before any of the popular music press, we wholeheartedly suggest that you get your skinny asses down to one of the following dates...

August
20 York, Fibbers
21 Birmingham, Academy
22 Brighton, Freebutt
23 Bristol, Academy
24 Leicester, Charlotte
25 Glasgow, Barfly
26 Aberdeen, Moshulu
27 Newcastle, Academy
28 Liverpool, Academy
29 Cardiff, Barfly
30 London, Barfly
31 Nottingham, Rock City

Critical release information

1. 'Vacuum Irony' by The Scare is out right now on Kill Your Own Pets.
2. Disco Ensemble have their first UK release, 'We Might Fall Apart' out on Fullsteam Records, in shops on 10 July.
3. Brigade are set to release their latest single 'Meet Me At My Funeral' on Mighty Atom on 7 August.
