Stratford Upon Avon's finest Antihero have announced details of a new label, a new single, new tour dates, and a new download singles club! Oh, and they've relaunched their website too! Yay!

Pete, Jack, Davo and Markus have just signed to Alpha Engineering Records. Their first release will be the single 'Don't Trust The DJ' on July 19th. It is preceeded by a download-only single, 'Feel Bad Hit Of The Summer', which can be obtained for free via www.antihero.org.uk from May 24th.

Antihero also say they are planning to release more material, including their debut album proper, before the end of the year.

Amongst this flurry of activity, Antihero will be hitting the road with label mates Locus Of Control in support. The dates are:

MAY
26th Hereford Manhattans
29th Llandeilo Civic Hall
30th Mansfield The Mill
31st Bury St Edmunds Studio 3

JUNE
3rd Leeds Transmission @ The Vine
5th Edinburgh Caledonian Backpackers
6th Arran The Aldersyde Hotel

If you can't wait 'til the 26th to see Antihero they play London's Buffalo Bar this coming Thursday (13th). The venue is underneath The Famous Cock, right by the Highbury and Islington tube. Antihero are onstage at 10.15pm as part of the Rhyme & Reason club night which goes on until 1am. If you're quick, tickets will only cost a quid - yes, one British pound! - when you email lookingatbeing@hotmail.com before Thursday! Go on - you've got no excuse.
