More names for Carling Weekend
afuture1 by Andrew Future April 13th, 2004
Supergrass, The Von Bondies, The Vines, Placebo, Funeral For A Friend, Jurassic 5, Graham Coxon and Hundred Reasons have been added to the line-up for Reading and Leeds.

Coxon, Jurassic 5 and Hundred Reasons play the same day as The Darkness (Friday – Reading, Saturday – Leeds), with the ex-Blur guitarist headlining the Radio 1 Stage. The Vines play the Main Stage on White Stripes day (Saturday – Reading, Sunday – Leeds) with FFAF headlining the Radio 1 Stage, with Supergrass and The Von Bondies both playing the Radio 1 Stage (Sunday – Reading, Friday – Leeds).

We advise you to control your excitement at these shock announcements.

The Carling Weekend Reading and Leeds Festivals take place simultaneously over the bank holiday weekend of 27-29 August. Tickets are around £110 for the weekend.

DiScuss: Will you be throwing stuff at The Vines? Will they have the same hollowed out amps they are famous for ‘destroying’ on stage? Will Coxon out-retro The Darkness?
