Reading/Leeds adds some (good) bands!
crablin by Colin Roberts June 6th, 2006
and Toby Price

Carling stage announced for this year's Reading & Leeds extravaganzas.

This is the bit where everyone goes, "Wow! They've added some great bands!" and some other people say, "Jesus, they do this every year, why did no one listen to me when I said they were going to add more?" Then, someone else will probably say, "Oh crap, I wish I'd bought a ticket now," some other people will laugh and the eBay touts will rub their greasy, dirty, stinky, dry-skinned hands with glee.

Ah, whatever. Animal Collective are headlining the Carling Stage. There is a god. READ THIS LIST:

Friday Reading; Saturday Leeds
BEDOUIN SOUNDCLASH, TWILIGHT SINGERS, EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, HOWLING BELLS, BROMHEADS JACKET, THE SUNSHINE UNDERGROUND, LITTLE MAN TATE, GET CAPE, WEAR CAPE, FLY, FIELD MUSIC, SCISSORS FOR LEFTY, PIGEON DETECTIVES, ZOX, MUMM RA

Saturday Reading; Sunday Leeds
NOUVELLE VAGUE, THE FRATELLIS, TV ON THE RADIO, THE ORGAN, THE LIKE, THE SPINTO BAND, THE NOISETTES, GOODBOOKS, TILLY AND THE WALL, RUMBLE STRIPS, SERENA MANEESH, THE MACCABEES, THE MORNING AFTER GIRLS

Sunday Reading; Friday Leeds
ANIMAL COLLECTIVE, HOT CHIP, LARRIKIN LOVE (pictured), KLAXONS, LETHAL BIZZLE, STATIK (DJ), THE RESEARCH, GOOD SHOES, SEMIFINALISTS, YOU SAY PARTY! WE SAY DIE!, HUMANZI, SWITCHES, THE ON OFFS, KHARMA 45

There's still some day tickets left and stuff, so like go and buy them or something. I dunno. I'm going to buy some Diet Coke.
