Youthmovie Touring Strategies

DiS faves Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies, who've just released their debut mini album on Oxford's Quickfix Recordings, are out on an equally mini tour with The Edmund Fitzgerald.

OCTOBER
30th Leeds The Vine (with 3k7 & Baby Food)
31st Oxford Wheatsheaf (with Cat On Form & Ship's A Going Down)

NOVEMBER
1st Bristol Louisiana (with Sammo Hung & The Barbs) *YMSS only
2nd Manchester Twelve Festival @ Jabez Clegg (YMSS onstage at 7.15pm)
7th London Upstairs At the Garage (with Immense & Cat On Form)
29th London ROTA @ Notting Hill Arts Club (with The Evenings, Ship's A Going Down & Xahdrez)

The band also play the DiS Xmas party at Camden Barfly, on December 17th.

The album, 'Let's Get Going, You're Fracturing Me With This Misery', has been produced by Hope Of The States' Ant Theaker, and contains the following tracks:

1. Give An Infinity For, Or Leave The Building
2. Certainly If Anything Is Going To Be Falling From The Sky It Ought To Be Rain
3. The If Works
4. Sook
5. Radio Distalgesic

It's available to buy at gigs, through oxfordmusic.net or hmv.co.uk, or by sending a cheque for £6.50 payable to Simon Cope: 20 Rosemary Close, High Wycombe, Bucks HP12 4AG. (DiS review coming soon!)

Their split 7" single with The Edmund Fitzgerld will be available shortly on Vacuous Pop. The band are also writing new material for release on Fierce Panda early next year.
