Stone Temple Pilots are finishing their 5th studio album in Atlanta, recorded in their LA house studio. They have made a film documentary of the creation of the album, directed by Chapman Baehler, who said it will be "beautiful" and "moody" in a "really beautiful space" with some "totally awesome rock-out live stuff" to accompany the film. The band also plan to produce a book covering the as-yet-untitled album's recording. All of which is due for release later this year.
