PJ Harvey: In the Garden of Eden, Baby.
sean by Sean Adams May 3rd, 2003
Our Polly is melting our hearts again this summer, with a few festival appearances, previewing her new album, amid all this mobile phone tv advert exposure...

PJ Harvey's performing @ The Eden Project 2003, in Cornwall on August 15th. This is one of her first shows since The Big Day Out, down under, earlier this year, where she previewed new tracks 'Shame', 'Who The Fuck' and 'Desperate Kingdom Of Love' [bootleg mp3s can be found on fansites to the left!].

Also playing the Eden Sessions will be tea-cosy wearing Manc' Badly Drawn Boy (August 1st), mirror for a head vegan Moby (5th) and, er, WOMAD (22nd). PJ Tickets are on-sale from May 7th, via The Eden Project (01726 811972 or edenproject.com). And all proceeds from the concerts will be donated to the Eden Trust registered charity.

In other news, Polly also plays V2003 (weekend tickets are now sold out!), and on August 23rd Slane Castle, Ireland + Glasgow Green (24th)..

Aside from live shows, Polly has been recording with Marianne Faithfull and Mark Lanegan, as well as earlier this year getting involved in Josh Homme's Desert Sessions; here's the latest on them from qotsa.com..

Desert Sessions Vol. 9/10 featuring the likes (or dislikes) of Dean Ween, Dave Catching, Josh Homme, Chris Goss, Josh Freese, Alain Johannes, PJ Harvey, Twiggy Rameriez, Joey Castillo, Natasha Shneider, Brian "Big Hands" O'Connor, Troy Van Leeuwen, The Tuff Gentlemen.
